Soul Yoga Dance is a Vinyasa flow class that embeds simple movement postures with deep breathing techniques used to calm the mind and cleanse the body. This class is open to all levels. No prior experience required.
Vanessa ( Dr. J) is a certified Vinyasa yoga and dance instructor with more than 20 years of experience teaching in higher education and community programs. She is also a mindful living coach using mindfulness, movement and meditation as a means for centering the mind, body and spirit. As an artist, her most recent artistic undertaking Daring Artists Making Noise (DAMN Dance), Women Speaking from the Soul, speaks about the untold stories of sexual abuse against women of color.
